New Home Sales Associate

Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking candidates with a desire to build a long-term career to join our Dallas/Ft. Worth team as a Sales Associate. 

Real estate experience is not required, but enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are a must!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically and professionally meeting and greeting prospective customers
  • Maintaining various tracking and scheduling lists and performing clerical tasks
  • Assist Sales Consultant with administrative duties
  • Passing along potential customers to our Sales Consultant
  • Qualifying prospects by determining their home buying needs
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Assisting the Sales Consultant with prospecting, marketing & promoting new business
  • Following up with prospects throughout the sales process
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with the Realtor community
  • Working & communicating effectively with customers & team-members
  • Understanding the loan process

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or related degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly pick up new software
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written
  • Strong listening skills & creative problem solving abilities
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills in negotiations, prospecting, marketing and communication
  • Ability to resolve customer service issues diplomatically
  • Proactive follow up with prospective customers
  • Capability and desire to produce and implement marketing strategies
  • A high level of enthusiasm, energy and integrity
  • Self-motivated with a team-player attitude
  • Skills to prioritize & multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

*Must be able to work weekends, evenings & some holidays

*Realtors must be willing to place their Real Estate license in an inactive status if hired
